Bondi Beach 4K Walking Tour

In the 4K video of Sydney, we walk along the entire length of Bondi Beach in Summer. We start at the South of Bondi Beach at the rocks near the Bondi Icebergs Pool, we go over those rocks and then walk along the golden sand of Bondi all the way to North Bondi. This was filmed in Summer (during the week, not the weekend) so you will have an idea of what it is like at that time of year. You will see people sunbathing, swimming and even surfers trying to catch some waves. You will even get to see a full-production photoshoot.

I hope you enjoy this walk with us.

Tips for Visitors to Bondi Beach

Timing: Early morning visits can provide a less crowded experience.

Sun Protection: Given Australia’s harsh sun, sunscreen, hats, and UV protective clothing are essential.

Local Etiquette: Respect the beach environment; clean up after yourself, and be aware of local surfing etiquette if you’re in the water.

Bondi Beach is not just a beach, but a cultural landmark in Sydney.

North Bondi Tidal Pool

The tidal pool area at North Bondi, particularly the Wally Weekes Tidal Pool, offers a unique swimming experience distinct from the more famous Bondi Icebergs at the southern end. It’s a modified tidal rock pool, which means its water level and quality are influenced by the tides.

The pool is irregularly shaped with dimensions approximately 28 meters by 15 meters at its largest points, not suitable for lap swimming but ideal for a leisurely dip.

The pools’ charm lies in its simplicity, surrounded by rock formations that can be explored for small sea creatures like crabs when the tide is right.
